There's a line of code that makes sure we celebrate special moments on time. We're celebrating 7 years in business with 17 days of discounts! From October 15 to October 31, everyone passionate about technology can get a –70 euro discount on any IT course, whether introductory, training or specialization.
Our story, the story of the Informal School of IT, began on October 15, 2013, out of a desire to lay the foundation for the next generation of IT people in Romania, implementing a new educational philosophy, a mix of training – coaching – mentoring, with the goal of teaching, inspiring and mentoring people passionate about technology, with backgrounds both outside IT and within it.
Mihai Talpoș, co-founder of the Informal School of IT: “I wanted to be part of the process of changing Romania's educational paradigm, and the IT industry of 7 years ago gave me the right context to lay the foundations of an informal, simple school, where the power of practical example would make the difference in the relationship between mentors and students.”
Since then, more than 5,000 graduates have taken our courses, through which they reinvented themselves professionally, grew personally or moved up the ladder, reaching a new level in their career. Thanks to our more than 170 practitioner mentors, as well as partnerships with more than 100 IT companies, the employability rate of our graduates nationwide is 80%.
Răzvan Voica, co-founder and CEO of the Informal School of IT: “The Informal School of IT has a distinctive learning and selection model, which was validated as early as our first graduates, and today the national employability rate reaches 80%. We're very proud that we've managed to change the lives of thousands of graduates, and the credit is theirs, because they had the courage to start from scratch in an IT career.”
Through the PoVești de la Școala informală de IT podcast, you'll be able to listen, between October 15-31, to the co-founders' stories about what the first seven years were like, the good and the bad. Don't forget: in September we launched the Digital People program – Learn IT and pay after you get hired, specially designed for unemployed people, where registrations are open until November 30.
