Shortly before finishing the JavaScript course, I managed to get hired as a Software Developer. The whole learning process was amazing, and I'm glad I got to meet such great people. The Informal School of IT does an amazing job! My background is in marketing, but the idea of starting a career in programming came up as early as my first year of college, even though I put off the decision until after I graduated. If you're reading this and aren't sure whether a career change is worth it, here's my message for you: it's not an easy journey, it takes sacrifice, but remember: "work hard pays off".
